Crews battle homeless encampment fire near I-880 in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Oakland Fire Department crews are at the scene of a homeless encampment fire near Interstate Highway 880 Wednesday morning.

The fire was first reported at 5:50 a.m. near the intersection of East 12th Street and 19th Avenue.

There are no reports of injuries or road closures as of 6:10 a.m.
