Driver killed after car rolls 300 feet down hill in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- One person was killed after their car rolled 300 to 400 feet down hill in San Jose. Fire crews searched the hillside in case any passengers were ejected.

Two ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.

Fire crews responded to a report of a vehicle over the side of a hill on Guadalupe Mines Road around 9:30 a.m.

Crews reached the scene and learned a person inside the car died according to a fire dispatcher.

As of 10:50 a.m., firefighters were no longer at the scene.
