A magnitude 7.5 earthquake in Indonesia triggered a tsunami, killing more than 380 people.

The 10-foot tsunami smashed into buildings and swept away homes in Palu City.

Indonesia is prone to earthquakes because it sits on the Ring of Fire, an arc of volcanoes and fault lines in the Pacific Basin.
