LIVERMORE,Calif. (KGO) -- The pilot aboard a KCBS radio traffic plane is recovering after being hit with a laser-pointer Thursday morning

The man in his 20s was able to land the small plane safely at the Livermore Airport.

Traffic reporter Ron Cervi says the pilot told him the greenish beam hit his eye around 6:45 a.m., and believes it came from an industrial park in San Ramon.

The pilot complained of burning eyes and went to the doctor, but is okay now.

The CHP and FAA are investigating.
