ALAMEDA, Calif. (KGO) -- Alameda police are investigating the vandalism of a synagogue.
Windows that were broken have been boarded up at the Temple Israel of Alameda on Bay Farm Island.
The congregant who posted pictures of the damage on Facebook said the vandals knew it was a Jewish institution because Jewish symbols are displayed on the property.
Police say are not calling it a hate crime at this time.
