Police seek suspect connected to Scotts Valley burglaries

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif -- Police are looking for the person responsible for burglarizing two different Scotts Valley businesses early Monday morning.

Police received reports of burglaries that occurred between 1:50 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. at two different shopping centers near Mt. Hermon Road, according to police.

At least one suspect forced entry into a business located in the Scotts Valley Corners shopping center, located near the corner of La Madrona and Mt. Hermon Roads, police said.

The suspect also forced their way into another business located in the Graham Plaza shopping center located on the corner of Whispering Pines Drive and Mt. Hermon Road, according to police.

In both incidents, the suspect gained access by smashing glass doors, police said.

Responding officers were able to collect evidence and got a description of the suspect and the suspect's vehicle, police said.

Police described the suspect as a White or Hispanic male, between 20 and 30 years old with a shaved head, wearing a dark colored hoodie, dark colored shorts and white tennis shoes.

Police described the suspect's vehicle as a light color, older model four-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry.
