Danville police searching for missing elderly man suffering from dimentia

DANVILLE, Calif. -- Police are seeking an 81-year-old man who was reported missing today in Danville.

Eugene Bauer was reported missing around noon from his home in the 1000 block of Greenbrook Drive, according to police.

Bauer suffers from dementia and answers to the name Sonny. He was last seen wearing a shirt with stripes, dark-colored workout pants and dark-colored tennis shoes, police said.

Anyone who has information regarding Bauer's whereabouts is asked to contact 911 immediately.
