President Donald Trump held an off-the-cuff news conference that gripped the nation Tuesday afternoon where he reversed course and blamed "both sides" over the violence in Charlottesville.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- President Donald Trump held an off-the-cuff news conference that gripped the nation Tuesday afternoon where he reversed course and blamed "both sides" over the violence in Charlottesville.

The incident happened over the weekend and left one woman dead and many injured. Critics are outraged across the world and in the Bay Area.
