WASHINGTON (KGO) -- US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry began a three-day visit to the Bay Area on Monday.
Perry kicked off the trip with a tour of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories.
On Tuesday, the former governor of Texas will tour the Berkeley lab where he will hold a townhall meeting with employees.
Perry wraps up his Bay Area visit at the Stanford Linear Accelerator on Wednesday.
