BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- A power outage in the East Bay may keep some people from watching the Warriors game.

Seventy customers remain without power on Tuesday night. One family has been in the dark for nearly 24 hours.

They're worried the electricity won't come back until after the game begins.

Another neighbor has a bigger concern. He's worried about his medicine. "I'm diabetic, I'm getting concerned. I'm getting concerned over whether my medicine is going to spoil," resident George Gaskins said.

PG&E said the estimated restoration time is 7 p.m.

Officials said the outage was part of the chain of outages in the South and East Bay on Monday by the sweltering heat. It put a lot of demand on the system.
