Oracle Arena, Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum are giving away brand new pairs of shoes

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Oracle Arena and the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum are looking for more people to give away shoes to.

The Put Your Best Foot Forward giveaway will give 3,000 shoes to low income K-12 students next month.

The organization is giving away all types of shoes and is urging more people to apply before the deadline Friday.

There are 400 additional pairs they'd like to give away on the Sept. 29 event.
