One person hospitalized in Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Calif. -- Richmond police say they are investigating a shooting Wednesday evening.
The shooting occurred in the 1900 block of Chanslor Avenue Wednesday evening around 6 p.m., police said through the department's Twitter account.
One person was shot and taken to a hospital for treatment.
