SAN FRANCISCO -- Solving a Rubik's Cube can be difficult in itself - so a boy built a robot to do it for him.

Noah Hinkle, 9, from Missouri says he built a robot using Legos to solve Rubik's Cubes. But this creation was pretty complicated.

"This robotic arm actually makes this sensor go out over the cube, scans it, this one down here turns this table and then this one controls this arm," Hinkle said. "Very difficult, it took about 500 pieces."

Hinkle says he had a few glitches before the robot finally worked.

The robot solved the Rubik's Cube in two minutes and 23 seconds using just 42 moves.
