SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco Sheriff's Deputy April Myres pleaded not guilty Thursday to several charges, including giving a firearm to a convicted felon.

EXCLUSIVE: SF deputy arrested after alleged insurance fraud

Police arrested Myres in February, a year after she claimed her department-issued weapon was stolen during a home burglary.

Investigators determined the break-in was staged.

They found the weapon in a vehicle owned by convicted felon Antoine Fowler.
