3.4 magnitude earthquake shakes San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- According to the USGS, an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.4 shook parts of Santa Clara County including San Jose.

Some people on social media reported feeling a "jump" around 2 AM.

The quake was centered in Alum Rock.
