Grass fire burns 4 acres in hills above San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Many saw smoke rising from the hills above San Jose Sunday afternoon after a brush fire burned about four acres, near homes between Chaboya and Quimby Roads.

Firefighters doused hot spots, hoping the fire wouldn't re-ignite. The fire never reached any nearby buildings.

Officials haven't said what sparked the fire.
