Police investigating homicide after dead body found at high school in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Police in San Jose are investigating a suspected homicide after a man was found shot to death at a high school Tuesday morning, according to city officials.

Officers arrived at Mt. Pleasant High School shortly after the initial report came in around 7 a.m. and found the body of an adult male. Police said the man was not a student.

Police later revealed that the man had suffered at least one gunshot wound.

Students were not being impacted by the investigation.
