San Jose officer arrested on gun, drug charges

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A San Jose police officer was arrested Friday morning on gun and drug charges.

Officers with the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety arrested John Tompkins after searching his house and finding firearms and illegal drugs.

He's been booked on felony and misdemeanor charges.
