Truck slams into House of Liquors in San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) -- San Leandro police believe a woman was drunk when she drove a truck into a liquor store on Tuesday night.

It happened at the House of Liquors on Manor Boulevard near Farnsworth Street. The woman bought something in the store and then crashed as she was trying to leave the parking lot. Police are not sure how fast she was driving. Firefighters have put up some lumber material to help secure the building.

The woman was the only person injured. She went to jail after getting checked out at a hospital.

The building has been yellow tagged and a building inspector will check out its stability.
