Community members step in to help nonprofit who had $30K worth of laptops stolen

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) -- Earlier this month 38 laptop computers were stolen from a storage pod used by the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship in San Leandro.

That program gives under-served students business skills and opportunities.

A few ABC7 News viewers who saw the story have stepped up to donate 38 laptops, offer mentorship opportunities, and help find potential office space location.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for anyone who would like to help.

San Leandro police ask anyone with information about the burglary to contact them.
