Korean shipping company's bankruptcy creates mess at Port of Oakland
South Korea's biggest shipping line has declared bankruptcy, and it's created a mess at the Port of Oakland.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- South Korea's biggest shipping line has declared bankruptcy and it's created a mess at the Port of Oakland.

With Hanjin now bankrupt, shipping terminals aren't accepting the containers, unless someone pays up front.

That means truckers can get stuck paying daily rent on the chassis, the part with the wheels, until someone pays to remove the container and store it. Watch the video above for Jonathan Bloom's full report.
