San Mateo police issue new warning for holiday shoppers

SAN MATEO, Calif. (KGO) -- For those still doing their holiday shopping, there's a new warning out by San Mateo police, and it's an advisory we all should be aware of.

It turns out the one thing we've been doing to try to thwart thieves isn't working.
