Anniversary of Milk, Moscone assassinations marked in SF
Tributes and remembrances filled San Francisco City Hall on the 40th anniversary of the assassinations of Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Forty years ago, San Francisco changed forever. Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk were assassinated at City Hall by a third city leader, Dan White.

Watch the video above to hear from Moscone's son and LGBT activist Cleve Jones, among others, who marked the 40th anniversary of the assassinations at San Francisco City Hall on Tuesday.
