Just a quick flight from the Bay Area into the Rocky Mountains will put you in Utah's winter wonderland, where the mountains surrounding Salt Lake average 500 inches of fresh powder every year. In fact, the state brands itself as having, "The greatest snow on Earth."

We toured of the slopes in the Wasatch Range and talked to the locals at Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton, who tell us what ski and snowboards enthusiasts can experience in Salt Lake Valley. From family fun to Olympic level competition, there's something for all level of snow play.

Then, it was off to Park City to see what the largest ski resort in American is all about. We discovered a little about their history, food and art scene, as well as why it's everyone's favorite mountain town.
