Hispanic Roundtable

Each week we examine stories that affect people who live and work in the Bay Area. This special roundtable episode features ABC7 Mornings' own Jessica Castro as guest moderator with leaders in our local Hispanic community.

The term Hispanic or Latino refers to people whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South and Central America. The last United States Census in 2010 found that 55 million people, or 17 percent of the American population are of Hispanic or of Latino origin, a significant increase from 10 years earlier, up from 13 million or 13 percent of the total U.S. population.

Education and technology are a big focus of our discussion on Sunday.
