TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (KGO) -- A birthday celebration for a six-year-old boy at Travis Air Force Base stretched into weeks. That's because Devin Montoya received 10,026 birthday cards, and it took a while to read them all.[br /][br /]We introduced you to Devin and his mother, Jessica Robinson, earlier this month. They recently moved to Travis and didn't know a lot of people.[br /][br /]Devin told his mom he wanted 100 birthday cards for his birthday on April 6 because he wanted new friends.[br /][br /]When asked if it was tough for him to make friends, Devin responded, "Kind of."[br /][br /]The little boy wanted someone to swing with, someone who can do monkey bars, and maybe someone who likes to color.[br /][br /]"Devin was just born to still love people," Robinson said.[br /][br /]So she posted the request on Facebook and got an overwhelming response.[br /][br /]The family says they received cards from across the U.S. and countries around the world, including Australia, England, Japan, and South America.
