WASHINGTON -- More victims of sexual assault in the military are coming forward, according to a new Pentagon report released on Thursday.
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said that combating sexual assault in the military is a top priority. "Sexual assault threatens the lives and the well-being of both the women and the men who serve our country in uniform. It destroys the bonds of trust and confidence, which is at the heart of our military," he said.
