A battle over a neighborhood swimming pool is shaping up in Lafayette. The City Planning Commission will have to make a decision about the noise generated by a swim teams' meets and parties, especially during the summer months.

LAFAYETTE, Calif. (KGO) -- A battle over a neighborhood swimming pool is shaping up in Lafayette. The City Planning Commission will have to make a decision about the noise generated by a swim teams' meets and parties, especially during the summer months.

Neighbors don't mind the bells and buzzers from the swim meets. They're worried about the music. and the crowds, especially as the teams grow, which attracts even more people.
