Orinda boy qualifies for MLB's Pitch, Hit and Run Competition finals
We want to give a Better Days Shout-Out to Braeden Baldwin from Orinda who qualified for the finals in in Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit and Run Competition.

ORINDA, Calif. (KGO) -- We want to give a Better Days Shout-Out to Braeden Baldwin from Orinda who qualified for the finals in Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit and Run Competition.

The 8-year-old got a trip to Miami for All-Star week and took part in the finals on Monday. He was honored on national TV during the Home Run Derby.

Braeden finished third in the country and he even got to shag balls during the derby.

Mom and dad said they are incredibly proud, and so are we - congratulations Braeden.
