Re-opening celebration to be held for San Francisco's Dolores Park

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A re-opening celebration will be held today for the south side of San Francisco's Dolores Park.

The San Francisco Recreation and Park department is holding a light-up party from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Park goers are invited to bring glow-in-the dark accessories except for glow sticks, which could damage the grass if they break.

The nearly 14-acre park has been closed for almost two years for the $20 million renovation.
