The Bay Area's newest millionaire has just come forward after winning $9 million playing the lottery.

Officials say Carlos Bazan has now claimed the $9 million jackpot.

He won the Super Lotto Plus drawing March 16, but waited two months to come forward. He's keeping a low profile.

Bazan bought the winning ticket in San Jose at the Capitol Valero on Snell Avenue. He isn't saying what he plans to do with all that money.
