South Bay volunteers prepare 7,500 care packages for Bay Area needy

Volunteers in San Jose with the group Modern Woodmen of America prepared 7,500 meals and filled care packages on Saturday.

"It just makes you feel so good that someone tonight is going to have a meal. And they're going to be able to eat because they are so many people in the Bay Area that are struggling," said one volunteer.

The group helps needy families every day in conjunction with the Second Harvest Food Bank.

This year, it will give out $15 million dollars worth of food.
