Baby horse Valentine recovering after falling down ravine in Fremont

FOSTER CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- New photos were released Monday of Valentine, a 3-day-old baby horse that was rescued after he fell down a ravine in Fremont a couple months ago.

A Facebook page has been dedicated to the recovery of the little colt who is now two months and 4 days old


Valentine is now resting comfortably with his new owners in Glenn County's Orland area.

The baby horse broke a hip when he fell down the ravine on Valentine's Day.

It could take at least another four more months before he fully recovers and can leave his stall to go outside and run.

Valentine's GoFundMe page raised $15,233, which was over the requested amount of $10,000 to hep pay for medical expenses.
