VIDEO: Sperm whales seen off OC coast from GoPro drone

DANA POINT, Calif. -- New technology is giving us amazing new video of a rare sight off the coast of Orange County.

Dana Wharf Whale Watching caught sperm whales frolicking near Dana Point last week. The close-up shots are thanks to a GoPro drone that flew overhead.

According to the whale-watching group, sperm whales have never been seen this close to shore before.
