SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Last week, Cal running back Patrick Laird rushed for a career-high 214 yards. On Tuesday, he was nominated as a semi-finalist for the Burlsworth Trophy, which is awarded to the best NCAA player to begin their career as a walk-on.
