Diddy, Curry, Kaepernick want to buy Panthers NFL franchise

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, hip-hop mogul P Diddy, and now former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick all say they want to be part of the group that buys the Carolina Panthers' NFL franchise.

Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson announced on Sunday he plans to put the team up for sale after this season.

Sports Illustrated recently published a story saying the Panthers settled with at least four former employees over inappropriate workplace behavior by Richardson.

The 81-year-old allegedly made verbal comments about women's appearances, inappropriately touched female employees, and made advances to women.

The new owner will be determined following a bidding process.

But Diddy has already said that he wants to purchase the Panthers, saying, "There are no majority African American NFL owners. Let's make history."

He's telling followers to spread the word on Twitter and he's also posted a video on Instagram explaining why he'd be the best NFL owner.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry responded with, "I want in."

"Holla at me, let's get it!" Diddy tweeted back.

In an Instagram video, Diddy said he would bring in Colin Kaepernick.

And the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback responded on Twitter Monday morning saying, "I want in on the ownership group! Let's make it happen!"

Richardson won't entertain offers until the end of the season.
