Former 49er Ray McDonald looking for new NFL team

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- The agent for former San Francisco 49er Ray McDonald is shopping him around the NFL.

His agent reportedly sent a letter to all NFL teams saying McDonald will not be charged in a sexual assault case in San Jose.

But ABC7 News spoke with the Santa Clara County district attorney, who said the investigation is still open and there is no decision yet about charges.

The 49ers released McDonald last December, saying it was because of McDonald's history of poor decisions.
