San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence earned himself a black eye on Saturday after fouling a pitch from Washington Nationals ace Stephen Strasburg off his own face.

Two days later, it appears the mark has really started to set in.

Amazingly, Pence stayed in for the remainder of the game after the incident on Saturday and even managed to collect a single in his next at-bat. The 33-year-old was held out of the starting lineup on Sunday but came in to pinch hit in the ninth, when he struck out.
