Oakland Athletics pitcher Sean Doolittle visits veterans in Palo Alto

PALO ALTO, Calif. (KGO) -- Oakland Athletics star Sean Doolittle visited veterans at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System on Thursday.

The pitcher told ABC7 News, "I try to support them as much as I can. I had some time off, I wanted to come and show support."

The hospital posted a photo on Instagram and wrote, "Oakland Athletics pitcher Sean Doolittle stopped by to visit our Veterans today. This makes his third year visiting our hospital to brighten up our day. Thanks for stopping by Sean!"
