SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Santa Clara police chief ready for Super Bowl 50 at Levi's Stadium

Santa Clara's Police Chief Mike Sellers says he learned and observed a lot while visiting Glendale, Arizona and is looking forward to Super Bowl 50 at Levi's Stadium next year.

Sellers says they were able to find out what worked well and what needed improvement during Super Bowl 49.

He says they've been planning for next year's event for a while now.

Sellers says it will take a massive team effort. "I think those partnerships we created the past year will help us tremendously. That's really one of my take aways, was the collaboration between federal, state, local agencies working together and making a successful event," he said.

Super Bowl 50 is set for February 7, 2016 with a week's worth of events in San Francisco, Santa Clara and wine country.
