Infielder Wilmer Flores and the San Francisco Giants are in agreement on a multiyear contract, sources familiar with the deal told ESPN's Jeff Passan.
Flores, 28, hit .317/.361/.487 with the Arizona Diamondbacks last year and could be in line to play second base or a utility role with the Giants.
He spent the first six seasons of his career with the New York Mets and has a .268 batting average, 77 home runs and 290 RBIs in 670 games over seven major league seasons.
Flores has made starts at all four infield positions in his career.
