Super Bowl 50 officially handed off to Bay Area
NFL officials have officially handed off Super Bowl 50 to the Bay Area.

The Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee officially handed off Super Bowl 50 to the Bay Area during a ceremony on Saturday. Super Bowl 50 will officially be played at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara next season.

San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee Chairman Daniel Lurie, Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee Chairman David Rousseau, San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell were among those who took part in the ceremony.

The Super Bowl 50 Host Committee wants fans to be part of the action by being part of the fan countdown clock.

They are asking you to submit a selfie of you wearing your favorite player's jersey or hold up a sign with any number 0 through 9. Individuals, couples, children, pets - all are welcome to take part.
