The Warriors guard banged the "Keep Pounding" drum for the Panthers.
Curry, who grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and played at nearby Davidson College, remains a huge Panthers fan. He even wore Panthers gear at Warriors practice the day of the NFC championship.
The Panthers' mantra is "Keep Pounding." On their website they say it's in honor of later Carolina player and coach Sam Mills, who first used that phrase as a coach in an emotional speech to the team during their first playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys in January 2004.
On their website they say, "He spoke about commitment, dedication to teammates, team effort and never giving up. Mills asked the players to 'Keep Pounding.'"
After the Panthers lost to the Broncos, Curry posted a photo on his Instagram page and said, "A Look into my soul right now...but it's all good we will be back! Nothing but love for my Panthers. Helluva season fellas."
