A boy battling cancer got a special birthday wish from his favorite basketball player -- Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry.

The NBA MVP posted a video on Twitter to Taliq Davis, a 10-year-old in Texas who has brain cancer.

In the video Curry said, "What's up, Taliq! Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday, man. Wish you all the best to you and your family, speedy recovery, and keep your head up and keep believin'."

Taliq's mother put out a plea on Facebook to make her son's birthday the most memorable ever.

The team also sent him a care package complete with a signed picture of Curry.
