Every team has its lucky charm.

For the 2017 NBA champions, it was a toaster signed by Klay Thompson.

No joke.

After Thompson signed a toaster for die-hard fan Ronnie Reyes back in March, the Golden State Warriors went 31-2 and won the NBA title.

And now the lucky Warriors toaster is paying off for Reyes, who tweeted that he was personally invited by Thompson to attend the Warriors'championship parade on Thursday. (And before you ask ... yes, he is bringing the toaster.)

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Reyes' toaster dates to 2013, when he received it as a Christmas gift.

Of course, the Warriors-branded toaster didn't go viral until Thompson put his signature on it and the Warriors went on their incredible run.

"It's pretty surreal to be popular in the Dubs community, especially Reddit," Reyes said. "I'm still a bit overwhelmed by the fame, but then I realize that it's not really me that's famous. It's the toaster."

Yup, let's give credit where credit's due.

The toaster is the real MVP.
