SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The Warriors unveiled an updated design for their new arena and entertainment center at San Francisco's Mission Bay on Wednesday.

New images show the 18,000 seat arena flanked by office and retail space, as well as a park.

The shape of the arena has been changed, from what critics say looked like a toilet bowl. The buildings is also a few feet shorter, after neighbors complained it was too tall.

The architect says the complex offers something for everyone, whether you are attending a game or a pedestrian passing by.

The $1 billion project is being built entirely with private money. It's scheduled to open in the fall of 2018.
