Kansas City Chiefs fans are certainly enjoying their Super Bowl LIV victory. In fact, Chiefs gear is selling at a nearly unprecedented pace.

According to Fanatics, Kansas City is on pace to become the second-best selling Super Bowl champion of all time, behind Philadelphia in 2018.

But what about all the gear that was produced in case the San Francisco 49ers came out on top Sunday night?

Well, it doesn't just end up in the trash, thankfully. Instead, the NFL has partnered with a nonprofit organization called Good360 to find a home for all that stuff.

And it won't just be 49ers merchandise that ends up in the hands of the less fortunate. There's also the celebratory swag that was ready in case the Green Bay Packersand the Tennessee Titans won their conference championship games and advanced to Super Bowl LIV.

Hopefully that provides a small bit of solace to fans of those teams and the rest of the league too.
