1 hospitalized after stabbing in San Francisco, police searching for suspect

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- One person has been hospitalized after a stabbing at 11th and Market Street in San Francisco, police said.

Police say at this time it is not known if the suspect and the victim knew each other. We are also waiting to hear if the person who was stabbed was on a Muni bus or near a Muni bus.

Police are actively looking for the suspect.

The extent of the victim's injuries has not been released.
