South Bay kids awaiting ruling on NFL's use of their soccer fields
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- Thousands of young South Bay soccer players, who are part of the Santa Clara's Youth Soccer League, are awaiting a judge's decision on whether the NFL can be blocked from using fields next to Levi's Stadium as a media center for a Super Bowl 50.
The ruling was suppose to be made Monday, but continues to get delayed.
Meanwhile, work has already started to build the temporary facilities.
The youth soccer players did receive some good news from the San Jose Earthquakes, who will let them use two fields, located at Avaya Stadium, until the Santa Clara fields re-open.

If Judge Joseph Huber grants an injunction, it would send the NFL scrambling to move visiting media and its security operation. Santa Clara agreed two years ago to let the NFL use the facility.
