Suspects vandalize Super Bowl 50 statues in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Officials said giant Super Bowl 50 statues that were installed in San Francisco have been vandalized.



According to Hoodline, the statue at Alamo Square Park was vandalized. The good news is the statue was designed with graffiti-proof coating and the designer was able to quickly remove the marks.

In a separate incident, the sculpture at San Francisco City Hall had its solar panels ripped off.



The NFL is keeping future statue locations a secret until after they are unveiled.
